News: The Goldsmiths’ Centre launches new talks and networking events to help start-up businesses to grow
On 16th May 2023, the Goldsmiths’ Centre in London is launching a new series of monthly Creative Links talks and networking events designed to help emerging makers and start-up businesses learn, network and grow.
Creative Links events will see experts and successful business owners in the jewellery and silversmithing industry explore and discuss subjects including range planning, finding new markets, showcasing and digital marketing. With Q&As and plenty of time to network, people will be able to ask questions, seek support and engage with a variety of topics in-person at the Goldsmiths’ Centre or through online events.
“When developing your business, it’s vital to be able to access frameworks of support. We’ve found that creative start-ups completing Getting Started Online, our free introduction to business course, benefit immensely from the expert industry knowledge and contacts formed during their early stages. Our new themed Creative Links sessions will help more new business owners to access the building blocks to develop their businesses and network of contacts, whether they are based in London or across the UK.”
– Charlotte Dew, Programme Manager for the Goldsmiths’ Centre
With opportunities until September announced, further events for autumn are in the pipeline. As the UK’s leading educational charity for jewellers, silversmiths and the allied industries, the Goldsmiths’ Centre will be offering platforms of support helping creative businesses to thrive.
