Fabergé in London
Join Kieran McCarthy, joint-managing director of Wartski and curator of the sell-out Victoria & Albert Museum exhibition Fabergé in London: Romance to Revolution, as he presents this talk about Fabergé’s work and influence in London.
This is a unique opportunity to gain an insight into the Anglo-Russian relationship which saw the opening of a London Fabergé branch in 1903.
Who was the speaker?
Kieran McCarthy is a Freeman of the Goldsmiths’ Company and a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries. He is also a member of the advisory board of the Fabergé Museum in St. Petersburg and has widely published and lectured on the Imperial Russian Goldsmith’s work. He authored Fabergé in London, the in-depth study of Fabergé’s London branch and its customers, which inspired the exhibition.
