Discover a hand-picked selection of this year’s awe-inspiring award-winning work in GC&DC’s (free to visit) exhibition at the Goldsmiths’ Centre. You will be able to enjoy seeing creative designs and incredible handcrafted jewellery, silversmithing and objet d’art, gleaming with precious metals and gemstones, from emerging and established designers, makers and craftspeople.

Founded in 1908, the Goldsmiths’ Craft and Design Council (GC&DC) is a non-profit making charitable organisation that encourages, stimulates, promotes and celebrates excellence in the jewellery, silversmithing and allied industries in the UK through its prestigious annual awards, often referred to as “the Jewellery Oscars”.

This year GC&DC received 800 single competition entries of two and three-dimensional work from across the UK. All award-winning work being showcased was considered with a critical eye by over 100 expert judges for assessing their quality, skills, creativity, standards and complexity.

“Congratulations to all our award winners for achieving excellence in both craft, design and technology through these Awards. We are delighted that so many entrants continue to participate in this wonderful competition”

– GC&DC Chair, Anne-Marie Reeves

The GC&DC 2023/24 competition was generously supported by a distinguished and loyal group of Patrons and Sponsors. Our leading partners are The Goldsmiths’ Company Charity and The Goldsmiths’ Centre, alongside Cartier, Brown & Newirth, Fuli Gemstones International Holdings, The Clothworkers’ Company, Tracr, The Betts Group, Lindström, ALPHA LASER, Sheffield Assay Office, and Beaverbrooks.
