Join Newby London‘s Tea Sommelier, Evita, for a guided tea tasting to discover the origins of tea, the different types of tea and what makes quality tea.
In the session you will sample a number of specially selected teas from different categories and regions. This will include white, green, oolong, black and dark teas. Discover the secrets behind how to brew the perfect cup and gain a deeper appreciation for the versatile tea leaf.
The tasting will last approximately 2 hours with an opportunity to ask questions and to view the exhibition, The Craft of Tea: 1660-2024, examining the material history of tea from 1660 to today.
Who is Newby London’s Tea Sommelier?
Evita is a certified Tea Sommelier, for the last two years working as tea trainer/ taster for Newby London. Her tea knowledge derives from working for some amazing tea companies for the last decade and traveling to tea growing regions.
