Join Deputy Librarian Sophia Tobin as she explores the fascinating story of Hallmarking from its origins in the 1300 to the present day.

This talk has been programmed as part of the Goldsmiths’ Centre’s talks series in association with the Goldsmiths’ Company.

Who is the speaker?

Sophia Tobin is Deputy Librarian of the Goldsmiths’ Company. She has studied History and History of Art, and worked in the silver and jewellery trade for six years before joining the library. She is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Library and Information Professionals.
