See, handle and try on exquisite jewellery and objects in silver by new talent at the Goldsmiths’ Centre’s Shine 2021 showcase and Goldsmiths’ Fair. Makers will introduce their intricately handcrafted work and tell their unique making stories.

The event will start at the Goldsmiths’ Centre, where a selection of Shine jewellers and silversmiths - Kali Forbes, Clio Saskia, Alice Fry, Natalie Perry, Ellina Pollitt and Roberta Pederzoli - will join participants over light refreshments, to share their ideas, inspirations and examples of their work. The group will then be taken to Goldsmiths’ Fair, at Goldsmiths’ Hall, to take part a tour and be introduced to the new talent on show.

At 13.30 participants will have a guaranteed seat at the talk ‘Gem X on Rings from The Goldsmiths’ Company Collection’, where they will join Heidi Garnett of jewellery club Gem X in discussion with Company curators Dr Dora Thornton and Dr Frances Parton as they discuss the exquisite, unique and inimitable rings from this year's Fair exhibition 'Rings: A World of Invention'. Their talk will explore the landmark 1961 International Exhibition of Modern Jewellery held at Goldsmiths' Hall 60 years ago, unique rings from the exhibition and the stories behind them, as well as a chance to get closer to selected rings from the Collection.

Join us to get special access to these rising stars and their work.
