Take inspiration from the Goldsmiths’ Company’s extraordinary collection of design drawings for jewellery from the 19th and early 20th century. This workshop will provide the opportunity to view, handle and draw a selection of designs, including examples from the Artificers’ Guild, E. Podolsky & Co design archive, Charles Meyer and Paul Emile Brandt.

The session will take place in the Goldsmiths’ Company Library, where Librarian Eleni Bide will introduce the designs, their context and the range of drawing and colouring techniques employed.

The Goldsmiths’ Company’s archives date back to the 14th century, and the Library's collections include over 8,000 books and over 15,000 images, magazines and journals, films, special research collections.
