“Getting Started: Stars in the Making” champions early career makers, putting jewellery and silversmithing talent in the spotlight.
Alice Fry, Kristina Smith and Millicent Bradbury were all participants of Getting Started 2021 Online, successfully completing the course back in March.
Following Getting Started, they were invited to apply for Getting Started: Stars in the Making, an initiative providing successful applicants with further free business skills training. This further training delivered by the Goldsmiths' Centre was tailored to Alice, Kristina and Millicent's needs, helping them to build their confidence and best present their work in person and online.
Now, in this recorded Meet the Maker event, Alice, Kristina and Millicent take centre stage. Watch now to hear more about their practices and the inspirations behind their pieces.
