It’s a very flooded market and what consumers need is to understand exactly what they can get from buying from different people.
“It’s a very flooded market and what consumers need is to understand exactly what they can get from buying from different people. Being a jewellery maker or designer or retailer, having a really clear differentiation that roots itself in what a customer gets when buying from them will massively help build their businesses.
For me, the story telling element is really important because primarily it helps create that differentiation. It’s that story of how they came to be inspired to create what create and having that behind any sort of piece that you’re going to buy or a designer that’s going to design something for you, that’s where it becomes unique because everyone’s story is different.”
