Join other Goldsmiths’ Centre members for a special guided tour led by Design Director, Jonathan Rowley, and his team of the 3D printing and design studio D2W (Digits2Widget) in Camden. Following on from the fantastic tour there last year, listen to a talk about the potential of 3D printing in the design process and production. This will all be illustrated through the showing of award-winning projects, ranging from jewellery sets, textiles to eyewear.

You will also be able to see their industrial grade 3D printers in action and get advice from their experts, including jewellery and industrial designers, as well as architects and model makers. As part of the Goldsmiths’ Craft & Design Council (GCDC)’s judging panel for Technological Innovation, Jonathan will discuss how this technology is revolutionising the way jewellery, small work and silverware are being produced. He will be joined by emerging jewellery designer Rebecca Wilkes, who in 2017 won a Gold and Silver award in the GCDC competition for her inventive Nylon SLS 3D printed jewellery.

This exclusive event is aimed to help network and share innovative ideas with your peers.

Bar opens at 6pm and the talk starts at 6.30pm. D2W (Digits2Widgets) is a design studio based in Camden, London. To find out more about their work visit www.digits2widgets.com
