Few things matter more when selling your jewellery than high quality photography. Whether you’re looking to retail online, share your work with journalists or your social media followers, it is vital to capture your best work in the most striking light.

Professional jewellery photographer Simon Armitt will help you to unravel the mystery of taking high quality pictures, introducing simple techniques, which can lead to dramatic results. From setting up your shots to choosing the right background and lighting. He will also explain how to commission photography to reflect your brand and let the detail of your work stand out.

Jewellery photographer Simon Armitt has developed an enduring passion for jewellery photography, capturing over the past four years some of the most beautiful, contemporary objects made in London. He studied jewellery design at The Sir John Cass Department of Art, Media and Design, graduating in 2006.

Simon’s images have been featured in BBC’s Top Gear Magazine (Method UK advertising), retail advertising for Gemsone (UK) and he is currently working with avant-garde designer Shaun Leane. He also has experience working with institutions, galleries, individual designer/makers and private collections.
