This advanced micro-setting masterclass is led by expert Optical Diamond Setter Alexander Sidorov and is designed as an intensive, practical course for experienced jewellers or stone setters. Over five days you will learn to expand your skills and micro-set stones with absolute precision, speed and efficiency.

The masterclass is limited to six participants and will ensure that you receive one-to-one guidance specifically tailored to your needs. Key study topics covered include:

  • Using microscopes for maximum results
  • Insight into all setting types with emphases on micro pavé
  • Preparing complex stone layouts and setting formats
  • Improving use of specialised tools
  • Optimising speed to meet market demand

Alexander Sidorov is the CEO for the Alexandre School in Antwerp. With thirty years of experience, Sidorov uses the microscope as the main working tool and combine two specialist professions: microscopial engraving and stone setting. This has enabled him to create pieces of stunning elegance and incredible symmetry, combined with remarkable productivity, making him renowned in the field.
